– Mortal fools! Bow down before the might of the XVth Legion and the master of all Fate, ominous Tzeentch.
Long before the strings of Fate had been laid out, drawing reality to this junction of time, Thonarash of the Thousand Sons controlled unthinkable power. Driven by a thirst for knowledge and more power, Thonarash devoted himself to Tzeentch. The devotion payed off and he was blessed by Tzeentch with immortality. As insurmountable power flooded through his body, releasing him from the shackles of time, he ascended. He became a Lord of Lords, a King of Kings. But he was not free, those frail illusions were left behind. Reborn as a Daemon Prince of Tzeentch, he had chosen to serve once more. Servitude was the price he paid.

And he’s done! I’m really happy with this conversion. Oozing with the arrogance of daemonic might, to me he is everything I want from a Daemon Prince of Tzeentch.
It’ll be a great centrepiece model for my Thousand Sons. Oh, that also means that I can have this be my January hobby challenge too.
Pictures!
I’ve experimented a bit on this model, doing some free hand runes on his legs, blending on the horns and some OSL on different places. Like on his right hand and arm.
One last picture just for size.
Please drop a comment and let me know what you think.
Stay dusty!
Love him- he has turned out great. Looks rather fragile for gaming with- is this the case?
Cheers,
Pete.

Cheers! I’m glad you like him.
The model surprisingly sturdy. The Prince is pinned to the base and the Warp flames aren’t glued to the base but sit in a big pile of Green Stuff. I’ve already put the model through the obligatory Thomas-you-are-clumsy-as-fuck-test dropping to the floor with out it breaking. I hope it will hold.

Very nice mate, and all the more impressive given the conversion.

Cheers mate! It was a pure joy working on this model, from converting to painting. Loads of fun.

Some figures are a labour of love, others are a joy. I would have had this one down as the latter if I was painting it too.

I have quite a few Rubric Marines and Scarab Occult Terminators left to paint but they are so laborious that I keep putting them off. They are many thing but not a labour of joy.

Outstanding – you’ve really knocked this one out of the park. I can’t believe that you did the whole thing so quickly, too!

I think this was the most fun I had converting and painting in a long time.

It speaks to you….? Um… I hate to have to say this, but you might need to get rid of it…

Gets rid of it, he says. Never. My precious.

Really nice work! As Alex commented above, it exudes an arrogant, haughty demeanour. You should be very proud.
