WIP: Broodlord Conversion

I think I finished building the second Broodlord and I thought I’ll just drop a quick picture dump of it right here. I think the pose is quite dynamic and full of action. It was a fun model to work with but not as easy to repose as one could imagine. The base isn’t finished just yet.

    1. Thanks. I think it would be fun to make a display piece at some time. I could have taken the pose even further had I not felt “confined” to the dimensions of the base.

      1. I’d highly recommend it. If you think about it, try to make it so you can remove that pillar from the base in the future. But the fact you are already pushing past the base limitations (or suggestion as I like to call it), is super awesome, especially with such an interesting asymmetrical composition.

      2. I’ll try and make it removable. Just in case. A thin screw through the base up the pillar should do it.

        Btw base suggestion!!! 🙂

  1. I’d use this guy in a diorama for a single sci fi figure. Best advice I got when thinking about bases…tell a story. You gotta write your own story 🙂

  2. Very cool. As the others have said you’ve nailed the pose, its nicely dynamic and aggressive, and really captures the character of the model. I wouldn’t fancy meeting him coming the other way through a crumbling space hulk I can tell you!
