WIP: Khorgorath Helbrute Conversion part 5

Yes! I got an hour or so of hobby time and finished the conversion. About bloody time. As you can tell from the lack of activity on the blog; hobby time has been scares lately. The legs are now attached and while the they may look a bit odd (or plain ugly) I’m pleased with the pose.

It’s been fun converting this model but I can’t wait to get it done and getting to move on. Just need to paint it up. Check it out.

The skulls on the back and the power fist might be the most untouched elements of the original model.

I added the weird crab claw on the right shoulder.

I’m really pleased with the back. The engine look the part.

The barrels of the Lascannon are removable (so you remember weapon destroyed results).

Full frontal glory of the Helbrute.

Lo and behold, the magic of priming.

  1. Really nice work. I think the Lascannon looks awsome. Is it twinlinked or did you use doubble barrels for pure awsomeness? :))
Will be great facing him in battle.

  2. Ah, the primer makes all the difference in the world. Having that single color to pull all the elements together.

Great job on this guy. You put in a ton of work and it’s really paid off.
